Blue mouth Carpets?

I was quite shocked yesterday when I was holding my little JCP and I saw him yawn for the first time... He was blue on the inside! Are all carpets like this? or is it just jungles? What other snakes have a blue inside? And what was mother nature thinking about? :shocked:

All of my carpets have blue tongues but I believe the insides of their mouths are still pink.

Woma pythons have black mouths. So do black mambas - the name is actually a reference to the color of their mouths, not their scales.
