This is Sandy, my 1st and only snake - so far. He's about 15" long though it's hard to tell since he didn't like stretching out. I've taken tail pictures so you with the knowledge can tell me whether Sandy is a boy or girl. My guess is a boy since he's only 15" and was at Petsmart for 22 months before I got him (her).
Wow 22 months... I don't think you can really tell from a picture, but lets see what the pros say...

It's really hard to say because there's nobtelling how often it was fed at petsmart. I am no expert so I cannot offer any speculation on gender.
However, if youwould really like to know, you can find an exotics vet and ask them to probe the snake for you. I persnally take all of mine to a reptile store and they doit for me for free. =)

I was given the feeding charts when I bought Sandy, that's how I know he'd been there 22 months. They offered food every Thursday and most time he ate. He had progressed up to 3-4 pinkies - usually 4. I breed pygmy mice and he's been eating 3-4 of them every week or 2.

Except for the pinkie picture, all of the pygmy mice are adults. I used a dime and a spoon to give size references.
As Logan said, the only truly reliable way to tell if a boy or girl would be to have it probed by someone experienced.
