After such a looooong wait....my time has come. Boas were the first snakes I truely fell in love with. But I wasn't allowed to have one as a kid. And when I grew up, I could only have 'smaller' snakes.

Well...finally...I decided to face the wrath of Mom and get what I have really always wanted. After some research and looking really hard at every ad that interested me and talking to several breeders....this is the one I chose, and the breeder was AMAZING to work! I have been paying him off for several months, and at one point had to miss a payment, which he was SUPER understanding of! I had 3 more payments to go, but had the money now, so just paid im off, in full, last week.

I introduce to you...my Treasure! Who was remarkably bigger than expected and will be taking Moko's pvc enclosure later when I get home from work lol. He is a 2 year old super hypo pos jungle (I think...but he's pretty!). The tub was supposed to be his....but it was waaay too small and he likes his head up. So he was put in a 'slightly' bigger enclosure until I can get home and swap some things around, sterilize stuff, ect. Then he will have a 3x2x1 which will be perfect for him until I can get his display enclosure built. =)

Congrats on the pickup! Nice way to move up. Did you get a weight on him yet, he looks pretty healthy.

No. I was too excited and I had to get to work. Also, I don't think my scale is big enough lol. I can try tonight though when I swap enclosures. =)

According to the breeder hasn't turned down a meal yet! Also, I have short, pudgy fingers. He's not that thick XD

It should work unless you've got a super tiny scale, at that size he should only be maybe 3-4 lbs, give or take a pound or two. If you need a bigger scale, Wal-Mart, Target, etc. sells fairly cheap digital scales that go up to at least 15 lbs.

Congrats on the new addition, he's beautiful!

Yeah, I'm thinking he is about 5 pounds since the box and everything was 6 pounds lol. I am not in a financial place to purchase a new scale.
