hey guys, im thinking about re-homing another boa from a locan reptile rescue centre, she is a beautiful 10.5 ft boa (female) and just wondering what is the minimum size viv is should give her thanks CBG :D

If she is indeed 10.5' I'd advise nothing smaller than a 6'x2', but an 8'x2' would be much more preferable. Personally, I feel 10.5' may be a couple feet longer than she actually is. lol But that depends on what species she is. If she's a large locality of Boa constrictor then maybe, if she's Boa imperator I'm incline to not believe it.

People like to look at their snake and add a few feet, I've seen people claim snakes that are clearly 8'-9' as 14'-15' snakes. 8'-9' is fairly likely, though.

I usually assume any snake over 4' people will add 30% to.

I always think the opposite to that because when snakes are in their vivs, often coiled up, you dont get a true impression of their length. I actually measured my boa against a wall and he was longer than I thought - exactly 8 feet long.

Well my Boa is very big she is 18 inches big or what lol
