Joined the forum last night after it was suggested by a friend. I'd been researching bioactive enclosures and ended up here!
I've currently got six snakes, two dogs and a hamster.
Snakes are:
1.1 Western hognose. Well I think one's female. She was sold as a male but I believe they were wrong.
0.2 Corn snakes
1.0 Cali King Snake
0.0.1 Irian Jaya Jag. Which I should be getting next week.
I've always loved snakes but only got my first a little over three years ago. That was the female hognose who was sold as a male. She seems to have had a rough start to life but is doing fantastic now. I got my second hognose a few months later as a birthday gift for myself.
The corns and king were not something I intended to purchase but I got them fairly cheap and the guy seemed desperate for cash.
The IJ I just bought this week.
I'm intending on building enclosures for all of them and am really looking forward to getting them into nice bio active set ups. I think I'll do them one at a time to avoid overwhelming myself and since I assume I'll make some mistakes I'd rather make a mistake with one enclosure instead of 6.
Anyways. Enough rambling :)
