breeding size for rainbows

i was just wondering what everyone thinks is a appropriate breeding size/weight for brazilian rainbow boas?

The general standard used by J. Clark for breeding BRB's is 2.5 years, 5+ feet, and 3.5 lbs for females, and males should be 2.75 lbs and 5 feet.

IMHO (this applies to any and all species), its always beneficial to allow the animals to mature longer. This will allow for a more established animal which will increase the chances of success, less strain on the female, and larger litters.
