female boa not eating

ive got a six foot 5 year old female common boa only had 1 thing to eat in the past 3 months, she was in with my 6ft male khal albino from October ,there was a definite ovulation lump in February and she shed about 3 weeks after , shes not as big as some photos ive seen in brumation. but she hasnt lost any weight since saying she hasnt eaten, she just sticks her head out from under her hide in her warm spot to be able to reach her water, i dangle a medium mouse to her every week just in case but she just refuses it, she looks really healthy and temps are great, so do you think she is pregnant should be due in the next month if she is, just worried about her

She's probably not eating because she's been bred. If she's gravid, I wouldn't feed her again until she gives birth. Maybe try her on one half-sized rat and then leave it at that. If she's 6', she's probably on larges, so give her a small rat. She won't have much room in her belly with all the babies.

If she had her ovulation shed, it's something like 100-106 days until birth. So no, she's not due next month.

Could certainly be gravid. Average timeline for birth after the POS (post ovulation shed) is 105 days, but that is simply an average. Don't feed her if you think she is gravid.

if she is staying in her hide all day Ive heard that it is a good idea to take the hideout of the enclosure all day and put it back at night or you can keep her out of the cage all day and put her back at night for a few weeks and that might make her more social but I don't know about the eating problem.

Or you could say if the snake wants to hide let it hide instead of stressing it out by forcing it to be in the open purely for your benefit. Ymmv

Edit: boas are nocturnal. They will hide in the day...
