Hey, I have a young argus about or just over a year old. I believe he is a male only because he when pooping two pink bulges came from his vent. I am starting to think he may not be because he has never fully extending his *****. I have now read that females can show the pink bumps. What do you think?

Hi, there`s nothing in that particular pic to suggest gender, try and take a few of the vent area in profile (as in when the animal is walking/standing without the tailbase resting on anything)...
How big is the monitor just now (measured not guessed)?
Example of tailbase shot...

I thought male for sure when the pink bulges came out but now I'm not so sure. They are so hard to find in Canada and I found female so I really hope he's a male.

He is a bit over a foot long.

If the monitor is over one year old its should be at least double that size, how long have you actually had it?
They are good photos, but still nothing clear.
How do you know you have a female, also?

I have had him since January and the store said they had him since sept.
Female because of an ultrasound done by a vet.
