I haven't posted any pictures of my snakes in a while, so I figured I would. Not the greatest quality and only one of each for now, but oh well.

Bandit, my Pueblan milk snakehttp://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e313/connor323/IMG_0378_zps1oew1g1j.jpg (http://s42.photobucket.com/user/connor323/media/IMG_0378_zps1oew1g1j.jpg.html)

And last, but not least, my rough green snake

How long have you had your rough green snake? I want one lol. I have the perfect setup for it but I've read how hard they are to get to eat and they die. Don't want that!

All beautiful snakes :)

Thanks Pogie. I've had the green for over 5 years, and it was an adult when I got it. I've tried my hand at three of them and he was the only survivor. One died the day after I got it, and the other lived for about a month. But this one has done well.

You feed it crickets and spiders and such stuff? I know they eat bugs, been reading up on for probably for about a couple years now. I had one many moons ago but it did die. I never saw it eat and that's why I am very wary of getting one. I don't want to get it and the poor thing die on me. I love the looks of them. I have an exo terra that is 18 x 18 by 24. Right now all it has in it is a plant :) Looks nice though lol.

It actually wasn't my green snake but my brothers. And we could not get it to eat anything. I still want a green snake and those fit the bill, to bad they have to be so delicate, getting to eat that is. :(

No, just crickets. I've tried feeding spiders, but he never went for them and the spiders would start picking off crickets. Some have suggested the occasional anole, but I'm not too sure about that.

Mine is currently in a 24x12x24. Plenty of artificial leaves and branches. I also mist the tank everyday, pretty heavily in the mornings. I also don't ever handle him unless cleaning the tank. This has been what's worked for me with this one snake. I'll get some pictures of his entire enclosure tomorrow.

EDIT: I also have had UVB on him since day 1.

Thanks Tsubaki.

And Pogie, here's a picture of the tank. I had just sprayed so that is just water making the glass a little blurry.

Nice tank :) Looks similar to the one I have, you know the empty one lol. Well except mine has just that one plant lol.

I may give it a try when I feel brave enough. But you don't see them often here. Well not this time of year. Do they breed them? I always thought most of them were w/c.
And thanks for all the info!

I can't be sure, but I'm pretty sure mine was probably WC. I don't know of any breeders.

If you do give it a shot, just make sure to provide a lot of cover for it. I think it would stress them out too much if they didn't have access to enough cover.
