It's been about 1 year since I had this guy on the forum. One of only four pastel granite checkered garters that I have produced in the past two years. This male's mother is gravid and I am hoping to have a couple of these born soon. Pastel garters are one of the smaller species of garter thus they produce smaller litters. I am hoping to breed this male to another single gene granite soon.

Thank you Koko! He's flighty but no musking or somersaulting like the California red sideds or those Oregon red spotteds. Lol.

Thanks EL! I think so too. His sister and two other brothers were very good looking specimens as well. I really wish I would have held the female back as well. The three of them were visual granites. Keeping my fingers crossed for a couple more visuals in this upcoming litter.

Thank you Mink! I really appreciate that. And I'm with you on seeing more babies bc I probably will hold all of them back this time. Lol.
