So there was a place in new braunfels, Texas that was a snake farm and I had to stop by :P Unfortunately, im not sure how good the conditions are there considering most of their snakes had really bad sheds and often two or more snakes were in the same enclosure, but whatever. Heres some pics I took of the snakes!

It's a snake farm, that's pretty much how it goes. Still, they've got some gorgeous animals! There's a serpentarium that opened up nearby where I live that I may visit if I don't get called into work, and this definitely makes want to visit it even more.

The anaconda seems a bit underweight, too. :/ Overall, the health conditions look good at least, apart from the bad sheds you mentioned.

You were pretty close to me.
I haven't been to that farm since I was 14.

People tend to have strong opinions on cohabitation, but the fact is that this has been commonly and successfully done in many collections, including both public exhibits and private collections.

That said, there is no excuse for having snakes with bad sheds, especially if they are on exhibit. Dirty cages or bad-looking snakes are a huge no-no at most facilities.

This is a COMPLETE shot in the dark for me, but the green one looks an awful lot like a Pope's Pit Viper. I don't think you wanna take that fiesty bundle home lol

Haha yeah, I think that was a white lipped viper, the anaconda was for sale for $40 and I was REALLY tempted to buy it. The only thing stopping me was that I'd have to spend up to 300 for all its stuff and also I was on vacation :P also he fact that it was 100inches long

I haven't been there since I was 12, do they still have the cage with 3 iguanas, about 5 turtles, a water monitor and a few crocodilians? And I can't remember but do they actually sell their animals?

Man! AG, that looks like a decent little trip. Fantastic pics too. Wish I was there. Thanks for sharing. I never seen a gaboon viper with that black coloration. Interesting.

I'd say very underweight, you can totally see the spine down its whole body, and he's in water so im gonna assume that he flattens out a bit so on land it would seem even thinner?

Eh, you can't really see the spine, there's still plenty of muscle and fat there. Its back kind sticks out, but there's no spine showing. What tipped me off was the fact the head looks like a boa constrictor's, and the way the skin bunches up, as well as the general small girth. (It is still very underweight but not quite to the point of spine showing, I wouldn't pick up the anaconda in that state myself.)

I see what you mean, it just looks very pronounced (whats poking out of the water imo)
