View Full Version : New addition
Went to a local breeder of balls and boas yesterday and couldn't resist.
Luckily I had an arboreal set up empty from a few years ago.
Please excuse all the t stat wires and thermo wires. Didn't have ti.e yesterday to conceal them.
Beautiful snake! Congrats on the new addition. I can't wait to get one of these down the line.

Man! That is such a amazing reptile. So super cool the way they just make themselves comfortable on a branch like that. Congrats.

My boyfriend is looking for a one too. They are soo beautiful, but their attitude isn't for me, haha! :D Congrats on the new snake and keep posting a lot of pics!
Here is a new pic of the entire enclosure.
It is a bit large for an adolescent but I'm working on getting a few extra plants for security.
Looks good and robust.
Try adding a few more perches of smaller diameter as well. That PVC looks a bit to big for it. Even my adult female will perch on a clothes hanger if I would let her. And boy would it bend....
Good to know.
I will wait for it to settle in and add a bunch more perches.
I was going to get a 1/4" pvc for the perch but my local hardware store only had 1"
I wasn't driving 30 minutes for 1/4". Lol

Very nice pick up, what locality is it?
Sylphie they don't all have attitude, i have and adult Biak female that is an absolute sweetheart to deal with, i think there is a common misconception about them like retics had back in the day, i believe a captive animal makes all the difference

love the color of tha t snake. totally different. good luck with it.
Well I was stuck at home today and added a few more perches. I used clothes hanger as suggested. Surprising the little one never struck at me when I was putting them in. It just watched intently.
I used warm water to wet him down today. In case he hasn't been drinking.
Tried a few photos with the droplets.
