Well here she is, not sure "what" morph but she is pretty :)
She does have some stuck shed on the back of her neck. I put a moist hide (butter bowl) in with her to help her get it off. I used damp moss inside of it. Should I try and get it off by any other means or will it come off on her next shed if not from the hide?

Ohh, and she eats like a champ :p

She is my Valentine gift from my husband..Great gift if I say so myself lol. And he use to be deathly afraid of snakes, I think I've kinda got him use to them now lol.

So he was told a firefly, but like my other post implied I'm really not sure. All the photos I've looked at, they both pretty much look the same to me lol.

I will try to get better photos later. I know these are crappy :D

Here is another not great pic, but you can see the stuck shed in this one.
For the life of me I can't get a good photo of her colors!

Gorgeous animal Pogie! Great Valentines gift. The humid hide should work fine for the small stuck shed. I think she looks like a firefly morph or a pastel disco. Sometimes it's hard to tell them apart. She is really nice! Lol. She will get the stuck shed with the added humidity.

Thats a nice gift, you could put her in a box with a moist towel in a warm area for a bit. he it will probably be off or slide off easily.. But she's new and if you want to leave her be i understand.

Firefly definitely, she looks exactly like my boy! :D You did this again, hahaha, first whiteout corn, now firefly ball :D I guess we're having very similiar tastes!

Say hello from us to your girl!

And I second that taking a pic with their real colors is a pain... It's either too yellow, or too whiteish.

Thank you all. She is a very nice girl and the best part..she eats!

Albert, thank you for your input, but now I have another morph to consider! LOLOL! I'll just take the word of my husband. The lady told him firefly, I'll stick with that :)

I know :crazy2: It was your fault about the white out corn rotfl. I saw your snake and fell in love! Please don't get anymore because if I have to follow you I will run out of room for snakes rotfl!
At least we have good taste :D

I will take a guess based not on personal experience, but what I googled.
The pastel disco seems much more lighter, pattern not that present. Closer to the firefly.
What about this "Desert Firefly"? Both this snake and the example seem to have fading towards the belly.

Yeah, pretty much you have to go with what the breeder sold it as. You can always ask the seller / breeder if they have pictures of the parents or what the pairing was to produce the animal. I was going by what Pogie had said , that she wasn't sure of the morph. But yeah, her husband said it was sold to him as a firefly then pretty much that's what it is.

Hahaha! Well, for now I don't plan new snakes, especially with first eggs that should be here soon... but if we don't like all the work with breeding (you know, every work seems cool until you actually need to do this)... then we'll definitely sold some of our snakes and get into more diverse collection of just pets (*cough*gtp*cough, cough*woma)

This girl is fearless. I was misting her cage a bit, checking on her moist hide and all the time I was messing in the tank she had her head stuck out just watching me lol. I know she isn't hungry I just fed her yesterday. She hits that rat harder than my kingsnake (Tyrion)!

Anyway this is what she looked like while I was in her tank.

Sweet! And I noticed that with some space, a lot of foliage and "stimuli" they are really active, bold snakes. I talked with some people that are having similiar set ups to you and me, and they confirmed that their balls are more active than their colubrids. And all of them are eating like a champs like your girl, so it's not about being distressed or anything.

So I must have done something right! lol.
I talked to the lady she came from. She owns a pet store and she said she could get her age from the breeder she got her from. Seems he is a local breeder so that's good.

Here are a couple more photos I took yesterday. Can't wait for it to get nice here so I can take my snakes outside for their photo shoots :)
Oh and that little bit of stuck shed is almost gone!
One of these pics is to faded and the other she is to orange lol.
