well, i bought 1 of those CO2 canister set-ups to do away with mice for mac. i have a few questions before i give it a try. how long do i have to keep the gas going to kill the mouse? if i don't do it long enough can the mouse resusitate itself if mac's slow about eating it? how many uses do you get out of those little re-fill cans? any easy tricks on how to use it? thanks!

I don't know anything about the small cans, I use a 20z paintball style tank with a controllable valve. With mine a slow trickle takes about 5 minutes to finish them off. Just be sure to keep it going till after they stop twitching and they won't come back to life. There's a lot of youtube videos regarding the subject you could watch.
I also use a 20oz but I only have the screw on tube so have to be careful when screwing it on as that controls the output and Ive accidentally scared the poor little rodents with the sudden blast.
I always put some CO2 in the can before putting in the mice, then trickle more in for a few minutes. CO2 is heavier then air so will stay in the can for quite awhile after you shut it off.
The younger the mice the longer it takes.
Ive had the odd one come back around but its rare.I always feel really bad if they do.I just did my first batch of hopper size ASF's and they went down fast.

thank-you for the advice! you saved me 54 dollars. the one i bought at petco is altogether too small and the cylinders hold almost nothing. that video using vinegar and baking soda will be perfect as i am only killing them as mac wants them. thanks again!
