Difference between a firefly and super pastels?

Ok, I've googled my eyes out, what's the difference between the two? I've read everything I found but I guess I'm just not understanding what I'm reading lol.

I know that the firefly stays brighter but that's about all I got from reading about them.

That may not always be the case depending on the example of the morph you are working with. Mostly yes. The firefly will be brighter. Two codominant genes for both morphs except in the super pastel there is more blushing. The firefly has a more vivid yellow coloration with the stark brown and black contrasting. There are low expressions in both morphs however.

Husband bought me a new pet, and was told it was a firefly. I have no idea. Saw couple pics of it but they aren't the best lol.
I will get it sometime today or tomorrow. I'll get photos of it up and maybe you can help me id it? I know it's hard by photos, but just a guess will work lol. From someone that knows morphs, unlike myself.

Super pastel when bred to a normal will produce all pastels. It is brighter than a pastel and makes some neat combos.

Firefly when bred to a normal will reproduce itself but also make fires and pastels and normals. Fire is a great ingredient to some really neat combos like the vanilla cream.

I do have the snake home now, got some photos but not great ones. I don't want to mess with her for a week so she can settle in. I'll post some photos, but just remember not the greatest photos rotfl. Again thank you both for the info. Not that it matters what she is. Hubby was kind enough to get me a suprise gift! I love her no matter what morph she is :)
