Hello,
I woke up this morning and took my snake out of his wooden enclosure and saw two tiny wounds on his head - one looks like a scab and one looks like a little cut or something! I did a bit of research at school today but I couldn't find much about it! I am freaking out because I feel bad because I think this is my fault, if someone could tell me what this is, where it comes from and how to treat it that would be great. Thank you so much!
P.S. The scab thing on the top left of her head is a lot darker in real life - I almost didn't notice it until I looked closer under a flash light!

It looks like something fell on his head, like he tried to crawl under that rock, or branch and when he pulled his head out it may have scraped him. Trying putting a very tiny bit of neosporin (NORMAL, not pain relief) on his head, and do not apply everyday as oil based solutions are not good for snakes scales during long exposure. Try every 2 days or so until it goes away

Thank you mystic moon, I will definitely try that.

No problem, let us know how he's doing.

Agreed. It looks superficial and more of a abrasion ( minor rubbing) injury. Fix suspicious areas in the enclosure first. Keep injury area clean. Maybe consider switching to paper towels as the substrate temporarily. Alternate betadine cleansing with neosporin ointment w/o pain relief.

Did he shed right before you noticed the abrasion?

No, she shed a couple weeks ago, but she didnt have any of these issues then.
