I found this list on a website for ball pythons and I wanted to know if it was accurate? It matches butterscotch since he's on hoppers right now.

Hatchling-99g: mouse hopper

100g-199: rat pup

200g-349g: rat hopper

350g-499g: weaned rat

500g-649g: small rat

650g-1199: small to medium rat

1200g and up: medium to large rat

I wasn't sure if it had any truth to it but it seemed like it made sense so I figured I'd ask. Butterscotch is on rat hoppers and he'd about 230g

I don't think balls ever need any bigger than a medium honestly.

But does the rest look pretty accurate? I'm just looking for some guidelines cause I always worry that I won't feed him enough

It's much easier to overfeed rather than underfeed. If the prey item matches girth of the thickest part of the snake or is slightly larger/smaller. Stick to that rule of thumb rather than the break downs from the chronic over worriers. :)

A adult ball python can thrive on a medium rat every two weeks for the entirety of its life. Or a small rat every ten days. Yes, your chart is pretty accurate though, thanks for that.
