He's sneezing quite a bit right now, this can't be right. thehumidity in his tank has increased sharply from 55%to 65%. he has a humidity box from two cut up tupperwares installed with the moist moss inside. He was acting fairly normal for a while.

Edit: stopped sneezing. I think the substrate was a little flakey in some parts (it was the break apart kind of sphagnum).

This is not reminiscient of RI. He's been unstressed in his cage without handling and having occasional checkups.

Again, I think you are making this a lot more complicated than it needs to be. As long as the substrate isn't too dusty and the temps are right and he has hides and a water bowl large enough to soak in (if he wants to), you should be all set. The only time I put in a container of moist sphagnum moss is when one of my females is ready to lay eggs. Sometimes well-intentioned people kill their pets with too much "attention". Just a thought...

The weathers dry, his humidity should be at least 60. Now at night time it should drop that low. once the weather warms up i can take the sphagnum out and use it for some arachnids instead.

They do fine with moderate humidity (40-60%) and they will definitely tolerate less. Only time it would be useful to use a humid hide since yours is a male would be during a shed and that is if humidity is below 30%.
