Hey fellas, my name's Sam, I'm from South Oz and I'm a novice snake owner! My family and I have always been animal people, and my home would support that proposition! Living with my parents we have gathered quite an array of wildlife and we're now starting to rescue and take in local lorikeets and parrots.

About a month ago I went and bought my first herp, a stimsons python. Who I aptly named Monty (Thinking it was original at the time), after finding out every kid and their mum names their first snake Monty I realised I'm just as original and creative as the next joe. Soon after delving into this new world of herps I decided to pickup a yearling Morelia whom Ive named Bowie. So far my experience with herps has been as rewarding as it has been educational, and I'm certain Ive found a new passion for these animals.

I look forward to watching them grow and learning more about herping as a whole, and introducing myself here is a good start to a sea of knowledge and enlightenment that Ive seen browsing the community.

See y'all around!

-Sam

Welcome and best wishes Sam. I'm a big fan of Australian pythons. Hopefully you'll share pics of your critter soon. :)
