I'm not going to go into details i already feel like an idiot but i'm only human and made an error..

I was doing a routine clean and decided to bake the wood for mercy's enclosure in the oven to get rid of anything. One piece of wood at one end had a burning glow on it i ran water over it until there was no more smoke coming of it then i laid it in the sun and now its dry but is now coloured black i brushed that area to rid it of any burnt bark falling of etc, Is it safe to put back into her tank for her to use? theres no smoke etc emanating from it.

I dont imagine there would be an issue. All that would be where it burnt would be carbon which is sanitary for sure. however you may still want to cut the burnt end off just so that the snake dosent get soot all over itself and the enclosure.
