This is one of my female Atheris chlorechis. As the common name implies, this is a West African taxon that is found from Guinea to Cameroon, with a type locality of Butre, Ghana (designated by Hughes & Barry 1969). This particular female came from Ghana in July 2011, and has been in my collection ever since.

Another just wow! You really do have an extraordinary collection. You seem to have an eye for a supreme example of each specimen.
No 'just OK' snakes in your reptile room!

Thank you, guys! Much appreciated.
Now if I were into those kinds of snakes, that's the exact kind I would have. I love the looks of them. To bad I'm such a sissy rotfl. I'll just admire from afar...very very far afar lol.

Not right now. I did keep them for years--great snakes!

They're by far my favorite hot! I'm glad to see so many shipments coming in from the Congo lately. Hopefully CB babies will be as common as shlegs in a year or two. I wouldn't mind having a dozen or so again.
