Snake knocking plants off wall

I have a yr old super pastel ball python. I bought him a few plants that suction to the wall in the tank to hide the back of the terrarium. The problem is he keeps knocking them off and into his water bowl. Anyone have any suggestions on how to keep them up? I was thinking about putting silicon on the suction cups but I don't like the fumes that come with silicone. Any suggestions?

Aquarium silicon will be just fine. Perhaps keep him in a tub weekday it dries. Make sure it has ventilation and warmth.
