Last year I started the slow and painful process of restructuring my collection. As the focus of my collection had slowly shifted over the past few years, it was only a logical consequence for that change to affect some of the projects that I have been working on. Prioritizing also meant that some of these projects had to be discontinued in favor of other projects, which has involved making some tough decisions.
One of the more difficult cancellations involved the spectacled cobras (Naja naja). About 10-15 years ago, I used to heavily favor the melanistic form from Pakistan, but recently the classic Indian form has really fascinated me. It was all the more difficult to see these guys go, but it did put a smile on my face when the new owner commented that these were the most spectacular examples of this species that he had ever seen. :)
Here are a couple of shots as their last hurrah. Hope you guys enjoy them.
