Hey there

My female argentine boa regurgitated 3 days ago. The mouse was digest mostly, but fur, tail, was still intact. There were no temperature fluctations or any handling. Today is feeding day for my snakes, shpuld i feed her or wait? Any other recommended actions? Thanks for the help. Ive never had a dnake regurgitate before, so naturally im very worried.

Thanks
Nick

I would wait 10-14 days after a regurge to feed again. Others might say 7-10 days is enough.

I agree with Ziggy (10-14 days) and if possible feed a slightly smaller meal for the next 2-3 feedings.

At least a 2 week wait to give her time to heal and all the juices to settle back in her stomach.

My standard protocol for regurgitations involves waiting a minimum of two weeks before the next feeding, then feeding a single prey item that is at least one size smaller than what you would normally feed. I also provide access to 24-hour heat to help with the digestion of that prey. I repeat that same protocol several times, while gradually and very slowly increasing the prey size back to the original size.
