Human interaction?

Assuming that the monitor in question is properly cared for, and the keeper has taken a sufficient amount of time to establish trust, do you think it's possible that some monitors actually do learn to enjoy human interaction?

I think they do for one reason or another, not all but some I think really do bond with their feeder < lol my sav would wake up and see me looking at him and would come to the front for food, and sometimes I would give it to him and he would ignore it for a few minutes for some interaction time, come up and let me pet him, would close his eye and sap it up then take off to the food bowl, remember, he came out of his cage and came to me outside the cage first, im not talking about, the fearfull close the eye and hope I got away, which monitors are famous for. which leads me to think he did enjoy it, most often he had some dead skin that needed pulling off gently or what not, kinda enjoyed the help, but he knew I was going to help him and wanted me to do it, or I would let him out and he would follow me around the house. but some times he didn't want nothing to do with me lol

Yes I think monitors can come to enjoy human contact. My boy comes up to me and will let me pet him and stuff, I think he mostly just likes the social interaction more than the physical contact.
