Hey. I have 2 red tails that I might breed with in the near future and respectively I would like my buyers to know what genes are the babies going to have, from Columbian to all these morphs I have no clue if it's just a Columbian or what. My female I'm sure is a 60-70% Argentine cross. If anyone might tell me their opinion on what they think my male is and how can I tell between a bci and a bcc?

If you want them to know the genetics, then it's best not to breed your current boas. There's no way to know what they are without papers, we can only give you guesses as to what they look like, but we can't tell you for sure if they're mixed or not.

From these pictures, they don't look like Argentine crosses, they look more Nicaraguan than anything to me.

You really made me wonder about my female, would you consider this an Nicaraguan as well?

Yes, she looks Nic as well to me. At least visually, I don't really see any Argentine. It's possible, but highly doubtful either have any Argentine in them.

Thanx. So is it true that the Nicaraguan are a smaller sub of the red tail that only get between 4 and half to 8 feet? I got my male and female at about the same age and time, my female reaching about 4.2 or so I'm guessing but my male is about 5.5 feet long

Nics typically stay between 3' and 5' from my understanding. 8' is on the bigger end of most subspecies, and I don't think you'll find a Nic that big unless it was a cross.
