Thanks all. He's a funny guy. He'll only eat his rats if I feed him a chick first. He strikes the chicks really hard but I have to leave the rat in his enclosure and he'll eventually eat it.

Patrick - He's an albino whitesided (snow) bull snake. They're fun to keep.

Very cool! Lilith never ate from tongs when I had her, I always had to leave her chow in there and come back. I think my next bull be a snow or maybe a patternless. Chicks are fairly expensive, do you use them more as a treat or just to keep their diet varied?

Those patternless bulls are beautiful Humble. I do like to feed my animals a varied diet. The Kings don't take rats regularly so I only give them chicks and mice. My bulls will eat anything I give them but they're too big for mice now so they eat rats and chicks. The chicks are only .40 cents each so they're relatively inexpensive feeders.
