My BP got that too a while back. Not sure what caused it, but I would put a tiny bit of neosporin on it. Took about 3 or 4 sheds but it's gone now.
If you use neosporin, use the normal stuff, not the pain relieving.

Polidin will not help?

No idea what polindin is. If it's like neosporin (minus pain relief) it should be fine.

That is definitely not from a shed. It is a injury that may have been caused by rubbing against a hard , rough object. How was the snake being kept at the farm? What were the temps and humidity like? Overall husbandry? I would keep the injury clean with a antibacterial solution as betadine and or chlorhexidine (hibiclens). Lightly scrubbed with a soft sponge or pad. Probably 3 times a day and the neosporin could be applied as a overnite application but only a very light layer. Consider a herp vet if it doesn't resolve after a couple of washings and the next shed cycle. Also consider bumping up your ambient temperature by a couple of degrees.

That is a scar injury from being bitten on top of the head by a prey item. It will go away after a shed or two...or three. You can dap a bit of that reptile-wound or what ever they call it and any topical antibacterial suitable for reptiles

Weird. My guy always had f/t, never live, and got the same thing.
