Hi there, every corn snake keepers! The new guy's here! I am going to show you my corn snake collection and update them here.
Currently, I have 3 corn snakes. They are all 2014 born and havn't reached maturity yet. (But I hope I will be able to start breeding them in a year or two in the future.)
Must say they are really sweet snake with great personality which varies between individuals. To be honest, I never be a fan of corn snakes until I decided to buy one to see why is this snake so popular, not just among reptiles keeper but also many people that aren't actually fond of snake, but still has a soft spot toward them.... Not I totally know why. xD
So, start off with my first corn snake ever, Cinderella or Cindy...

She is a female amelanistic corn snake which I got inexpensively from her forner owner who couldn't keep his snake anymore due to the problem within his house. Must say he wasn't a pretty good owner. Cindy came to me in the very ugly form... Still pretty small, Have lots of bad shed everywhere, along with some scar all on her body. She also vomited right after the first meal with me and I was really worried about her. However, she soon got over all the health problem... Right now, she is over almost 90 cm long, with healthy skin and proper weight. Totally has become a living gem in my house. Cindy is really sweet and she never resist handling AT ALL. I used to take her to my college for parasite check up at the animal hospital nearby and everyone there loves her!
Comes as the second is the golden prince, Erebor...

...The pompous, high grade snake from a famous corn snake breeder in Thailand. Erebor has shone his beauty since I pull him out of the package. He is the Gold dust morph which I really like(I like yellow corn snake!) and always want to have in my collection since I fell in love with corn due to Cindy. Erebor is never a sweetheart like Cindy, he is more like a rascal! Erebor doesn't like to sit still while being handled. He would slither around and tries to climb away every time. Sometimes that he get upset enough, he will try to thrash his way out of my grip and that's the signal for me that "Enough for handling for today". Erebor never have eating issue. He is like a eating machine, more like a kingsnake than a corn. XD
The two are about the same size and when they grow up, I hope I can breed these two together.
Now, my third corn snake, Blaze or Blazy....

The little corn snake with unsual short tail... She is a female Fire, another morph I specially like. She is the most troublesome snake i have ever got. Blaze came to me as a nonfeeder and it took like 2 months for her to finally got over that habit.... Yeah, she went off feeding for that long, you mustn't want to see how slim she got throughout those time. Lucky, now she is gaining weight and growing quickly. I was thinking of breeding her as well, but when I realize that her tail seem too unusually short, I start to feel that maybe I shouldn't breed her as she is probably a cause of too much inbreeding... However, thing might change in the future, who know...
I am going to get more corn snakes certainly, but now that I am having space issue in my house which the corns have to share with 4 more snakes as well. So, I won't get anything new soon. But if asking for plan of next snake, maybe something with incredible pattern like those pin-stripe, tessera or just an ordinary okeetee.
