Really not much to look at but this is what I've been working on. This will be for one of the corn snakes. This is what's done so far. I'm trying for a natural look, not sure if it's working lol. The background is that greatstuff foam with eco earth on it. The sides are just silicon with eco earth. Waiting for the stink to leave now.
That grass thing is a work in progress rotfl! But i'm enjoying myself doing it :p

I'm also working on making a tree stump out of foam. It's on my step drying with it's 4th coat of grout at the moment. Probably look like a 5 yr old did this hahaha.

Very nice looking! I do wonder, what if they smear poop on the wall? (My retics sometimes poop against walls, and well everything else..)

That was actually my concern as well.

My bp smears it on the walls all the time. Little jerk 3ft bp 4x2 cage and still wipes it on the wall. Lucky it's just pvc but still. Last time he did it 3 days after my cleaning the whole cage.

It does look nice though.

I thought of that too. Not sure to be honest. But all the corns are babies so I I shall see. To bad we can't pottie train them lol.

Ive never known a corn to smear poop around. They usually have nice neat little piles in the middle of the cage somewhere. The tank looks awesome, but yes its going to be hard to clean that background. I bet if it does get some poop on it f10 could be sprayed on it and get a used toothbrush to gently brush off the feces then let it air dry. IDK it might work.

I was thinking about this last night and with the background like this it may be well suited to be a bio active that way any mess that may end up on a wall would be dealt with by springtails and isopods.

That is what I was thinking of doing. If I don't use it for one of the snakes I'm sure I can find some use for it lol. But I am intrested in making a "natural" kind of tank for the snakes.
We shall see :) I'm still researching the natural set ups for snakes.
Thank you for all for your input.
