Planted crestie tank

So this is my newly redesigned and setup for crestie tank after CriKees passing. I didn't really plan on what to do after or have a specific timeline when it would happen, honestly wasn't in any rush. I had considered cresties before CriKee but another snake and one as cool looking as a vine snake won out. Sadly I didn't get to enjoy him long. Tank was mostly empty until today while going to the reptile store to pick up food for my boa was browsing and asked to hold the female crestie they had. I was sold hook, line and sinker. Little cutie was just crawling and jumping all over me. The little monkey nearly gave me a heart attack pulling a daredevil/superman move jumping from one hand to my other arm but over shooting and catching herself with her back feet on my jacket and front feet spread out in thin air. With my arms 5ft over a concrete floor. Put her on hold that moment, had to take her home. So my idea of planted tank with X animal got fast tracked so swung by the nursery on my way home to get some live plants. This is how it sits now, no cresites added yet. I have the one on hold and will be looking for another. I'll post pics of the additions when they come home. I'm picking up my one female tomorrow. I'll be adding some more decor, few cork bark ledges and magnetic feeding tray. Have a bromeliad and white/green pathos in it right now.

Looks good. Only change I'd make, replace the bamboo with a stick with at least a 1" diameter. Cresties don't really grip the dried, polished bamboo all that well and they prefer more substantial perches.

Enjoy the cresties, they're great little geckos.

I was planning to add cork bark ledges suction cupped to the sides. Pick those up today when i get the gecko. I'll swap the branches they were great for a vine.

She didn't stay still long enough lol. Just jumping around me but that was good enough for me.

Update on the tank. Didn't find any new branches that I liked that would fit the cage but have added a few cork bark ledges as well as magnetic water dish and food dish. I'll see how well she fares for now. There are 2 fake vines also for cross climbing. At the moment she is on one of the diagonal bamboo just hanging out arms wrapped around it.

Nice little flame, looks to have some pink blushing in the throat. She is going to do well in that setup.

My experience with the magnetic ledges, pull them out and put a very light coat of silicone around the magnets. Water droplets tend to collect between the glass and the magnet causing eventual rust. I know they look to be well sealed with epoxy but mine rusted anyway.

Thanks for the tip. I'll be moving all the ledges and platforms around when I add a second to make the cage look different for her to cut down on fighting.
