Here's Pepper, one of our latest additions. I have no clue what type of boa he is. He was shipped as a 'CA T positive Albino', but I have no clue what that means. Any suggestions?

CA means central american. Thats the boas lineage and I don't doubt it one but. Are you sure it wasn't het T+? I do not think thats a T+ albino, but someone please correct me if I'm wrong. This is Tsubaki's T+ albino Nicaraguan BCI.

CA, is a bit of a gather name.. Often used for smaller boa constrictor imperators from Central America, like Snoopy said. It is definitely Not a T+ albino, but could be heterozygous? No way to know for sure unless you breed it to a known carrier of the gene. It looks like it has Corn-island / Nicaragua blood mixed with another CA, which could make sense since T+ albino is slightly more common in Nicaragua/Corn-islands. It does not look like any particular pure locale though, it could be... To me however, having bred several localities, it looks like its color and pattern are a bit 'off' for the ones it could possibly be. I do believe it will stay fairly small, around 6 feet is a very wide estimate, depending on whats mixed with it, it might not even get over 4 feet though..

Simply said, it is a: Boa Constrictor Imperator (Poss het T+ Albino) And a pretty one too!:D

And Snoopy is right i have a T+, here's an old full picture.

Well said^ I agree that it doesn't look like a pure locale, regardless its a very nice boa and shouldn't get as big as the more common (columbian influenced) boas.

I bought both of them for $65 plus shipping.

Hm. Do they both look like this? This isn't an albino but could be possibly het T+ then. At $65 you weren't ripped off but just lied to I guess.....

Ok, I believe that other one actually is a T+ albino but I could be wrong (not big on morphs). If so, that is quite the steal. Just realized that I linked the wrong thread earlier but this is Tsubaki's T+ albino. Can you post some better pics of the whole snake?

Here's a better picture of him or her (now I'm confused, because I thought all along that it is a girl). I took the picture the other day. I wanted to take a picture now, but guess what. The little rascal disappeared. We just can't find it. How it could have lifted the lid of the enclosure is beyond my understanding. It is so small, we call it 'fish bait'. We decided not to look for it, because it would be in vain. Its color matches just about everything in the room. We are going to wait for it to resurface.
Anyway, here's the better pic. Please let me know what you think.

The snake on the last picture is the male according to your info, and clearly a T+ Albino. The darker animal from the first post should then be the female, with a chance of about 66% to actually be heterozygous for t+ Albino. You would have to breed them together to determine whether or not she has the T+ genetics.

What she said^ If I'm not mistaken you got quite the deal there.
