View Full Version : Another breeding question
If I breed an extreme hypo with a hypo should most of the clutch be extremes? Will there not be any extremes or what would I most likely get?

Of what species?
Further, usually "extreme" variants of mutations are generally line bred so yes you could end up with some extremes but not necessarily all that extreme compared to the parent.
honduran milk snakes is the species I'm referring to. I've been told you will get extreme hypos in the clutch if you breed an extreme hypo with a hypo Honduran. I don't know if that person is speaking from experience or not.

As I said you can. It's usually a line bred trait and I'm not too familiar with the honduran extremes to give you a concrete answer on how that gene works.
Most likely it's line bred and you'll have some.
