Well, I decided to take a cruise up the N.Y.S. thruway on 9/27/15 to Manchester, New Hampshire. I was in search of the elusive blue Puget sound garter and had high hopes of finding one there. Really started to feel good once I saw the exit off the thruway and the street name! Exit# 5 GRANITE st. Granite like in granite checkered, lol. Entered the event which was in full effect and moderately crowded. Validated my parking ticket and the search was on. Pythons, boas, kingsnakes, hognose snakes , uh oh getting closer. California red sided garters, now I'm getting excited. Unfortunately no blue pugets. More pythons, reticulateds, ball, more boas, sunglows, redtails, bcc, bci and the whole gamut. Then I decide I have to go home with something and saw a beautiful banana paradox pied that I fell in love with but he was disabled with a spinal kink in two places and facial deformities to boot. Vendor had him for sale and said "he eats like a champ". I must say I was still tempted even with the 2,000.00 price tag. I just didn't want to go home broke and another 4 hour drive back to N.Y. I did take a few pics to share.
