Doctor Sean Bush is a emergency physician that is specialized in venomous bites, alot of you will know him from Venom ER and some other shows.
In the following video he sums up what to do when bitten by a North American pit viper, and is very convenient for hospitals that don't treat alot of snakebites.
Also it is a very informative protocol for people who keep them as exotic specimens outside or inside of the US.
I only keep Elapid(s)at the moment, but am planning to get a Crotalus ruber from a friend and breeder.
Of course this isn't a complete protocol, but when you keep hots you most likely know about how and what to do when you do get bit (at least that is the case here in The Netherlands.)
