So my apartment management is spraying my building this Wednesday and I am concerned about my snake being exposed to pesticide. If the pest control people just spray the floors where they meet the wall as they typically do, is there any cause for concern? I plan to talk to them tomorrow just to be totally sure of their methods

Most apartments use pet safe pesticides. I wouldn't worry.

I wouldn't think that there is any need to worry. While they are in their enclosures they will be fine. Not sure if you ever put them on the ground, but if you do just don't let them go where they spray.

I had this situation a little ago in the apartment complex I live. To be safe, I took my terrariums to a small utility room we have, on the roof, until the pesticide disipated. The pesticide might be non-toxic, but it is still dense.

I'm with Rattlehead on this one. In my younger days, my wife and I lived in a condo and they had pest control come out to spray. We were assured that it would be no problem as these people were "professionals". At them time, we had several large aquariums full of expensive, difficult to find fish (I was in the tropical fish import export business at that time) and within two days every fish in every aquarium was dead. My complaints fell on deaf ears, but I learned a lesson. Now when if have pest control in our home, my man-cave is strictly off limits. They are not allowed in the room with my snakes even to just look as I am concerned about their clothing etc. being contaminated. You may call me over protective, I call it experienced. Just my two cents worth...

This. Most "pet safe" pesticides are tested mainly on mammals. It's not worth the risk.
