I am a lizard momma of 4 and counting 1 bearded dragon Strax and 3 Dumeril Madagascar Swifts (I think) I was originally told they were Chuckwallas and I need help as someone is laying eggs. I need someone who has bred lizards help asap. I do not know how to tell my males from females and want to help these babies survive. These are skittish and psychotic little creatures btw but we have had them about 6 months and my husband can take them out and bathe them and we would like to socialize the little ones if we can help them survive and be sweet pets. I am so worried right now as have never done anything like this.

If you know the genus that the lizards are from you can search that genus until you find the species you have, then type the scientific name of the species into google to get the common name.
Odds are that after this long without proper incubation it's too late for the eggs. These things tend to end up in the sh*tter the first time as people are unprepared.
If they layed eggs once it is likely to happen again.

Can you take pictures of the mystery lizards so that we can identify them positively? Chuckwallas and Swifts are pretty different so we'd need a definite identification of the species to give good advice on care and breeding. (you'll have to make a few posts before you can post photos or links)
What are you doing now to care for the eggs, if anything?

How do I share pics of them? The eggs are in little cups with soil inside a little breeding box which is in the terrarium and the lizards are unable to access as it is locked on top although one lays on top and peeks through the plastic window we have 3 in total 2 are a nice white.
