Can anyone help me determine what locale of blood he is. He is still young and will go through some color change but was wondering if its possible to determine locale now?

Looks line a Borneo blood. It doesn't have the intense red like Sumatran bloods do.

My buddy from the store thinks it is a sumatran and it will grow into the red. But myself I have no clue. I like him either way just curious really...

Where did it come from?

Could be a Borneo short-tail from those pics.

Can you get some head shots zoom in on the scales between the eyes. I am thinking Sumatran Red. The head scales will be able to tell you.

That's what zoom for. lol My big SSTP kind of has a red tint to him when i use flash. So i had to do a scale check to verify he wasn't a cross and was a true SSTP.

I also know there's a way to tell by the scale count from the vent back but it's not as easy to do on a pissed off Blood.

Mine were always just strikes but the one. Had my big Marble Borneo tag the back of my hand with his mouth wide open. It was so far open that he had to unhinge his jaw and work his teeth out of my hand. By far one of the weirdest feelings as i had to just sit there and let him do it on his own. So i didn't break any of his teeth. Took him less than a minute but felt like ten or more.
