I just found out today I will soon be getting the angriest blood python I've ever encountered. I'm pretty excited to bring home that little 2'-2.5' grumpy slug. Im going to be putting it in a 2'x4' enclosure (for now at least). Just wondering if anyone had any tips for the setup?

Well he is home and settled in to his new terrarium. He is without a doubt the angriest snake ive ever owned. Once getting a bit of a back story of the previous owner the attitude makes sense. Here are some pics. Does anyone know what type of blood he is? I know hes still young and will still go through a color change but am interested to get some opnions.

well he was surrendered to a store that my friend works at that once they met it they knew they would never be able to sell him because of the attitude. Hence why I got him for only $50!!! So basically the guy that had him decided he didnt want him anymore about 6 months ago and stopped feeding him. Also from what I was told his husbandry was kept as if he were a BP. Im not sure if he was even getting water on a regular basis. When he came to the store my friend kept him in the back gave him some pedialite and a small rat. Aside from being angry he is looking to be in ok shape.

I'm glad he's found a good home with you! Maybe his outlook will improve in time. And with proper care....being hungry makes me grumpy too :)
