Ok, let's be serious...this is my crested, he's 6 1/2 months old....Is anyone able to tell me what sex he it? (Yes, I know what to look for but I'm not sure at what age or if this is 'something')

and , don't worry he's got his tail coiled around ME, I'm not holding him by the tail :)

The spurs (white spots on either side of the tail) are a bit on the small side. At that age, most males will show more development too. My guess is female BUT with one caveat - assume it's not one of the late bloomers - the males that masquerade as females and switch sex almost overnight around a year old.
In other words, it's still not guaranteed, but my guess is that he/she is showing more female signs.

Another clue I go by is eating habits. Females tend to eat like pigs compared to males. Males will eat a meal, and then not bother again until tomorrow. Females (in general) will eat, and a few hours later at least try to eat some yummies you offer them. Even if they're too full, they'll at least try. Again, there are exceptions, but most of the females are pigs while young and still growing.

on the nose dragndrop.......my guess is female......only because of the size of its body size in comparison to what a males would be, and the spurs seem quite small for 6 months.

First that d^mned curse :P, now the "shushing"... Seems a guy just can't express his opinions anymore... *hangs head*. Heather... Yesss, yes, it's a male ;)... can I buy it?? Joking.

For the record, how large is this ciliatus?? Say between 3 and 5" snout to vent?? A lot of people say size is the determining factor when sexing the majority of gecko species.
