Hi guys Ive been saving up for a reticulated python for a while now, and making a adult enclosure. Someone told me if i knew the exact locality of retic i was getting then i should look up the temps of that region, but what about when it cools down? Do you think their would be any benefit of changing the temperature of the enclosure for the seasons?

I keep my hot and cold side the same all year round. The only reason to change it much is when you breed. That's when you reduce your cooling temps and lighting

As said just get your temps right for your hot and cold side and you'll be sweet :)

I know carpets better myself but the only reason I change temps and lighting seasonally is to trigger breeding. With no intention of breeding theres no need for the change.
