Thought I'd share a pic of the viv we have for the Gila Monster in the shop I help out at, we might as well make the little guy comfortable while he's with us :)

Very nice looking tank. Excuse my ignorance, but what requirements does a gila monster need?

His day time setup is what you see running here, he has his uv and heat bulb. The small cave on the left is his damp cave the floor is shallow tub with damp moss, which we've found he rarely uses but we give it to him anyway. If he is still with us in the colder months we'll add an CHE on a pulse stat, just incase his night time temperature would dip to low

Although we never handle this little guy without gloves on, we've found that if we move slowly around him he's pretty chilled out and will actually walk onto your hand and let you stroke his back

Beautiful tank! I really like Heloderma species, especially the Gilamonster because of the awesome looks! How old is this guy?

Very nice looking animal and enclosure. I know the Osbornes from California "Professional Breeders" have a nice selection of Heloderma. They breed ball pythons, kings and milksnakes. Their prices are high but the quality is perfect. Thanks Dave.
