Snakesitter

As of Wednesday night, September 2, our first female finally delivered her litter. That makes this post, highlighting some of the past holdbacks she produced, very timely.
Hailing from our 2013 “A” litter, we have #56, #57, and #58. These babies were born on July 20 to Scarface, a large bright orange male, and Almandine, a ridiculously friendly orange-red female. Juvie #56 was the first one of the litter to catch my eye. Juvie #57 took a bit longer to develop, but within a few sheds became the standout of the litter. You can see great color has developed, though he is not done yet.
Juvie #56 was profiled last month.
Here is Juvie #57 as of his most recent photo shoot:

He weighed 622 grams of his last weigh-in.
His sister Juvie #58 will be profiled next week.
Note that only the adults who make our end collection as breeders get formal names, so our younger snakes will be referred to by number (this both saves names, as there are only so many good gem ones available, and lets customers choose their own name for any we rehome).
As always, thank you for reading.
