I like to give my snakes some time outside every now and then, and since the lighting in my room is terrible I figured I'd take advantage of the natural light and get a couple of pictures.

Pueblan Milk and Rough Green Snake, respectively:

Great!! I have a pueblan milk and a rough green snake too, both babies! Great to see how they will look when they are a bit bigger.

I guess I'll be the one to say it. Probably not the best idea to take a snake outside and put it on the ground for like 10 reasons.

I've never had any problems with them or any other snakes being on the ground over the years. I know plenty of people that take their snakes out for some sun every now and then without any problems.

Love the green snake. I recently took noodle outside and let him sniff around in the grass. He is a two year old cornsnake that is surprisingly curious about things.I actually think its healthy to take animals outside to get fresh air and sunshine and sniff the grass.

The milk snake gets some time on the ground every now and then, but I don't put the green snake down. When my gopher snake gets older I'll probably let him have some time on the ground as well. But he's too young/small for that right now.
