1) Does this look like a male or female sand boa based on the tail?
2) If a sand boa bit someone, will it have a tendency to do it again?
I answered this in your other thread to the best of my ability.
The snake should be sexed for an sure sex.
And it depends on what kind of bite it was. There is possibility of it happening again, but this depends on how it is aproched.
Snake latched on: feeding response: hand was mistaken for food: tap train
Snake quickly bit but did not hold on: defence strike: snake was scared:don't let the strike become a way to be left alone, keep on doing what you're doing if this is the case. The snake will eventually relize you are not a predator and won't hurt it.
Neither were the snake's fault. And the bite won't hurt much anyway. Cat scratches and bites are worse.
