I have a spotted Python male that is about a month and a half shy of a year old, and was wondering approximately how large he should be by this point. Also, I was wondering at what age do these pythons reach full size? I know snakes grow continuously throughout life, but I'm talking about the point at which his growth rate will drastically reduce and he will effectively remain at the same size. He's a little under two feet long currently, and I have no scale and as such I am unsure of his weight.

By spotted python you mean the antaresia maculosa? If so they tend to grow anywhere up to 1.5 metres, but usually anywhere from 1 to 1.2 is the average. Sorry I don't do feet and inches, lol.

Yes, antaresia maculosa is correct. And also, in terms of meters, he is roughly .6 meters long if that helps you

He's probably about the right size for his age. Just be careful to not over feed him. Even as an adult, you will probably get away with a largish medium rat, or a large one at the bottom end of the scale. I hope that makes sense, lol.
