My daughter currently has an albino California king. A pair of l.g. nigras has come available locally... anyone happen to know if an intergrade between the California and Nigra would produce snows or blizzards?
If not then I'll just keep my eyes open for a chocolate cali...

Why would you want to purposely breed intergrades? Keeping the it clean is a much better idea. And no it would not.

The goal wouldn't be to create an intergrade per se, it would be to find a form of hypermelanism that is compatible with the albino gene to create a specific morphological characteristic. I don't see any real value in the pairing if all I'd be doing is creating a het albino intergrade.

What is an 'intergrade'?
Natural hybrid.
Like if two species live in the same regions and they breed in the wild then it's an intergrade and not known as a hybrid.
