Btw, nice assassin's creed tattoo, I'm currently playing the fourth one, black flag. (Fell in love with the game after playing #3 (fist one I played)

This one isnt mine, It's my cousins, I'm thinking of picking up a 3 gene.. Banana cinnamon fire, and a Mojave pied. both males for $1400.

$600 for just the 3 gene nanner.

they're pricey little things. But they make beautiful babies.

Just have to be persistant, I don't think they'll starve themselves to death. My normal was stuck on Live ASFs and now on frozen thawed normal rats :)

You know, my normal was near death, he wa so skinny and still don't want f/t. I decided to find him a better home with someone that has experience with that type of snakes (ofc I firstly "fatten" up him, but giving live prey was too hard for me, as I really like little rodents too).

But bananas and lessers are my favs, really beautiful snakes <3

Try finding one already established on F/T, the feeding issues are one of my biggest reasons for not having one too, though. :rolleyes:

Very nice! I was lucky enough to see a yearling cinnamon ball at the convention, and imo they look their best when their little dots come through. :)

I'm starting to like a lot of ball python morphs but I don't think I could handle another bp that is so stress-prone all I have to do is breathe on it and it goes off food for 6 months....

I have to disagree with you. Ball pythons are just not a completely hands on pet. I have one right now that is up for sale. I would only recommend her to a breeder because she's a little more timid and wouldn't take to handling on a regular basis well I don't think.

Then that's probably where we differ. I like to handle my snakes, even if it's just once a week. As it is, I never handle my bp and I have to plan each and every cage maintenance day around his scheduled feeding day. If I take him out of his tub, it takes him at least 2 days to settle enough to take food but I also can't wait much longer than 7 days because his bedding will become dry, requiring another brief handling session to maintain it. And all I do is stick him in one of his hides on the floor and he stays hidden the whole time. Each and every move I've made has put him off food for 6-8 months, so I'm just worried about all the stress being too much for him. The first 5 years I had him, he was a dream and never missed a meal but ever since I moved for the first time he's been off and on food and I have to step on egg shells to maintain any period of time where he is eating. I just don't think I could have another snake like that. :/

That's not the snakes fault though and you're blaming the entire species.

The snake was fine for 5 years. You made changes and now it's not as good of a feeder. Something is off most likely and I doubt it's your fault. Probably something so small you don't even notice it.

Hopefully it gets better.

I was never really into ball pythons much, I got a boa for my first.
My cousin breeds bps, ( he's where I got my boa from) and I go there every weekend and I just started to like them more and more.
Now I have quite a few and probably coming home this weekend with a 3 gene nanner and a mojave pied LOL.

We're pretty excited lastnight found 8 eggs from his hypermelanistic cinnamon pairing. Can't wait to see those babies.

That's not the snakes fault though and you're blaming the entire species.

The snake was fine for 5 years. You made changes and now it's not as good of a feeder. Something is off most likely and I doubt it's your fault. Probably something so small you don't even notice it.

Hopefully it gets better.

I wouldn't be so bothered by it if it wasn't such a common and prevalent problem. I've heard of just about every species having at least one individual that refuses to eat for months at a time. Even retics. It just seems like everyone has a problem-eater ball.

As far as something off, there could be. It would have to be really outside the box, though, as all his husbandry has stayed the same and he doesn't go off food just randomly. Whenever I moved, he'd go through his non-eating period and then eat normally, but then the cycle would start over again if I moved residences or I changed his enclosure. Any stressful event does this. Other than being stress-prone, he's a good eater and will eat through the winter if he's not in the middle of a feeding strike. Honestly, I think he's just exceptionally stress-prone and a shy eater as he doesn't go off food outside of any huge move or if I'm trying to change his food source. lol

Well here he is. My New baby Banana Fire.

Also we finally hatched out our black snake!! Panda pieds here we come.

Bringing home my pastave and phantom next month so this season I should have a go at trying to get my purple snakes. Hoping for a Deep Purple Passion. I've been offered a Mystic aswell, but I think I'll try with a phantom.

I'm really loving the dark genes lately, I was super into the butters and lessers etc. But I like my snakes like my cars. Dark and sleek lol.

Forgot to post my new one thats coming home just for show as well.
I might put him to use in a year or two we will see.

Let your friends know... only because I know prices for morphs out there tends to be higher than here. I know a few people who strictly buy from Ontario because it's cheaper with shipping. PM for more info.

Well the Hypermelanistic cinnamon clutch shed.
Went and snapped some cell phone pictures lastnight.

The black snake is a hypermelanistic super cinny,
the second is my hypermelanistic cinnamon

and the third we thought was a normal,
or a cinnamon.. hard to tell, its a beauty though.
