Saw him at the LLLreptile booth at a recent show. He is a Tanzanian egg eater and he is just adorable. Didn't know anything about him and wasn't looking for this snake but something about him made him a necessary addition to my collection. The guy at LLL said they also eat tiny pinkies but after research (and judging by the unused pinkie in the background) that would appear to be false. I'm trying to find small eggs. Petsmart had tons of finch eggs but they insisted they will not sell them, they will only throw them away. Anyway, going to try some bird farms but just wondering if anyone has kept these and has any tips, insight or comments

You may have to buy your own finches =/

You can get quail eggs cheap, if you can find a breeder who supplies game farms.

Eminart are you Huntsville as in Alabama? Used to live there for 8 years before I moved back to Cali. I sure miss rain and no traffic.

Yep, Huntsvegas. ;) Be glad you're missing the summer - temps in the upper 90's with 400% humidity. It's been brutal for a couple of weeks now.

We'll I found two quail eggs at a local bird farm and the lil guy ate them both and left the squished used egg shells on the floor of the cage. I wish I was home to film it because it must have been awesome. I'm going to record the next feeding for my lil egg eater and post
