Haha, welcome fellow blizzard fan! Take a lot of pics when you get him! :D
Oh I will take photos :)
I have been thinking of names for it. But then again I've been thinking of names every since I saw your snakes Sylphie :) I knew I was getting one just wasn't sure when. Since I named Tyrion after a character from Game of Thrones I wanted to keep that theme going. I love the name Khaleesi. But alas I'll never remember how to spell it! lol

Haha, you know, my female is still "that white one"... I have a theme for my Russian Rats from a book "Artemis Fowl", but I have no idea how to call my Blizzard :D
And urfotunately I never seen GoT so I can't hel there :(

Good luck Pogie. Those blizzard corns are gorgeous. Hope you find a winner!
Aww, didn't turn out what I wanted. It wasn't a blizzard, that much I could see right as soon as I looked into the tank. Then the thing bit me....twice. ROTFL! :) First snake bite and it wasn't even from my own snake lol.
After looking at snake morphs, I think the one I looked at today was maybe a snow striped. I could see the stripes on it when I was holding it. Had to look close but I saw them. Still a pretty snake (and it didn't like me lol) but not what I want. I'm not to worried about finding one though I contacted a breeder on line who said he will have some in a few months, so I'll get one sooner or later. Just would have been nice if it had been local.
He had another one which was really pretty. But I can't find the morph of it on line. Again not what I wanted, though this one didn't bite me :)

Sorry it wasn't the one Pogie. It's best to wait and get what you really want. Im sure it'll be worth the wait and hopefully it'll 'like you'. :)
Ok, I just give up. Seems since I'm out in the middle of corn fields in a small town it's going to cost an arm and a leg for shipping. I had a White out corn snake lined up got my pay pal going only to learn since i'm out in the middle of corn field ally it would cost $118 just to get it here by 8:30..:Wow:

Gee wiz Pogie, sorry to hear about the complications. I know how it is to want a new snake badly ;). Can you pick it up at a FedEx hub in a larger city near you?

Yes I can, but the nearest one is about 50 miles from me lol. The problem is that it would get here by 12 noon and not on or before 10:30 so he couldn't guarantee live arrival. He was very nice about it :) But for it to get here by 8:30 is when the price ups a lot it seems. I may have a chance if I can get it from some one who sells lots of snakes and has a fixed shipping rate. I'll just have to look around :)

I feel your pain. I paid more for shipping my hondo than I paid for the snake itself. The breeder felt bad and was very concerned about my choice in doing so for a "cheap" snake...I think overall I ended up paying $230 for Tesla, but it was the cheapest option anyway and it was comforting to have complete details of where she was coming from. If I had gone to an expo to get one, the trip alone would have come to $300-$400 plus would have required taking at least one day off work for an added opportunity cost of those wages, and if I had gotten a local pet store to order one for me it would have been $360 and of unknown origin. It might be worthwhile for you to just save up, like I did? Also look into different shipping options. Different methods cost different amounts. If there is a major airport within a reasonable distance, you could save money by doing air cargo instead to-door delivery. It cost me $120 to ship Tesla to my door, but it only cost $60 to ship both my pines(in a bigger box, too) to an air port a half hour away. All it cost me to get to the airport was a cup of coffee, because I had a friend drive.
If you do end up getting a white corn snake of some sort, I'd vote for Danaerys as a name

Uhh, I know that pain. After looking for it I decided, that if I'll want new corn (ofc I'm talking about something more "high" than normals or snows) then I'll just get to te Czech Republic... it's fairly near me, I just need to travel over half of the country, they have really more diverse market (there is a lot of good Czech breeders), and the prices are really better than here.
I hope that you'll find something. Maybe try one of the facebook groups? I personally have facebook only for snake groups, haha!

I'm curious what kind of prices you'll find in the Czech Republic. I just saw an adult male Russian rat listed f/s for $250 USD. Not a commonly availble species here from what I've seen. Corns , BP, and even boas are so common you can usually find them pretty cheap. Less commonly bred baby colubrids (or higher end corn morphs) generally go for $100-$250 depending on the species and/or genetics.
There are several fb groups dedicated to snakes, several more that also include lizards and aquarium fish, and at least one corn snake specific forum that I know of offhand. With the summer hatching season in full swing you should certainly be able to find one before the weather gets too cold for shipping.

I'm curious what kind of prices you'll find in the Czech Republic.
For example: Lavender Masque - 59$ , Charcoal Tessera - 70$, Blizzard Tessera - 167$. And like I said, in my country there is no chance to get morphs like this. Of course there are also morphs like Orchid, and they are rather pricey, but still they ARE available :D

Start breeding some and they will be availble in your country, lol. Not a lot of difference in the prices then. I occasionally see fairly common North American species offered fro sale from Germany. Cost more than domestically produced stock, but mainlky because of the paperwork and extra transportation fees involved.

Oh I can find lots of snakes. Just not the blizzard or white out. And yes I am on fb :) And yes I belong to several aquariums and snake fb pages lol. My problem is where "I" live. In the boondocks rotfl. It's not the breeders fault on the shipping price. I will probably wind up going with a bigger company that has the "set" shipping price. I have another breeder lined up just waiting on the babies to hatch. I am going to email him and see what he charges for shipping. I'm going to guess it will be the same situation. Since he isn't a big pet store company.
